The Flock (AKA Three Days on the Katherine River)
Description
My brutalist interpretation of the Rainbow Bee Eaters.
In June we spent three magical days paddling, eating, sleeping and exploring on the Katherine River with Gecko Canoeing and Trekking. The birdlife was incredible and we often had Rainbow Bee Eaters overhead. I’ve had this sculpture in my head ever since and it’s great to finally get it out.
This piece has lots of movement.
