Waxing and Waning
Description
Fresh from the workshop is the diptych titled ‘Waxing and Waning’. We love the idea of the diptych staying together, but they’re just as lovely on their own.
A collaborative wall piece, combining glass with polished stainless steel and rusted steel.
Steel leaves hand cut with the plasma cutter help to form the base for the glass leaves that are individually cut, glazed and slumped.
The addition of rusty gum nut flowers in this piece gives a glossy bit of red that fits into the Aussie colour pallet.
A beautiful contrast against the offset reclaimed polished stainless steel inner frame and rusty outer frame.
Perfect suited for indoors or outdoors.
