Twylight
Description
Twylight was made with a section of reclaimed steel that came from the top of a Silo Ladder that was sourced from a farm in Greenvale. Once thousands of acres and down to the last 70acres this property is right on the edge of a residential area.
The property has been sold to provide more of Melbourne’s much needed housing but bluestone farmhouse and barn built in the early 1800s are protected and will be a key part of the appeal for this estate.
Steel leaves hand cut with the plasma cutter help to form the base for the glass leaves that are individually cut, glazed and slumped.
The addition of orange flowers made from fusible glass and detailed glaze gives a glossy bit of pop a pop that fits into the Aussie colour pallet.
The detailing on these glass leaves and flowers beautifully compliments the rusty earthiness of the ring as a true reflection of what we are surrounded by when in the Australian bush
