Stevie
Description
Stevie is a great example of reclaimed material being used in sculpture. Her petals where cut out of a huge diesel storage tank and the curved shape is the exact same shape that they came out of the tank. Even the copper centre petals are the same curve as the reclaimed hot water service they where cut from. The reclaimed glass Japanese fishing floats will reflect light and give some extra sparkle at different times of the day.
One of my favorite things with reclaimed material is when it can be used in its original form.
