Silver Gums
Description
Silver Gums is set inside a reclaimed stainless steel frame with mild steel leaves plasma cut by hand to form the base for the glass.
Each piece of glass is cut and ground by hand. The glaze is mixed and hand-painted to make each leaf unique. The glass is then fired in the kiln to slump it and bake on the glaze before the whole piece is assembled. Its a lot of work but worth it for the end result.
This piece will work equally as well on an inside wall as it dose on an outside wall.
