Scrapjack the Kookaburra
Description
I love making birds and one of my favorites is the Aussie Kooka.
When i’m in the studio or the garden and i hear them laughing I stop listen and smile.
I feel like I owe them at least that for their effort!
90% of Scrapjack was made straight out of the scrap bucket where we put the plasma cuttings from other work. There is also some old copper Japanese hibachi cooking tools to add some extra color and whimsy.
His setting with old steel pipe and industrial plumbing bits and pieces recognises our wildlifes resilience in adapting to human intervention.
