Returning Light
Description
Fresh from the workshop is the diptych titled ‘Returning Light’. We love the idea of the diptych staying together, but they’re just as lovely on their own.
The vibrant yellow blossoms of the wattle tree represent the sun, a source of life and energy. Its presence in aboriginal ceremonies and rituals serves as a reminder of the enduring heritage and wisdom of Australia’s indigenous communities.
All the steel components for this piece are hand cut to form the backing of Robs glass that is also hand cut, hand glazed, and then fused in the kiln to form the stunning green and gold of the Aussie bush.
