Making Tracks Birdbath
Description
A 1.3 metre ‘Breakaway’ glass basin, hand-formed with a shell finish. Suspended and supported within a reclaimed excavator chain and sprocket.
There’s a shift in it—from movement to stillness. From something that once travelled across the ground to something that now holds water and reflects the sky.
These heavy rugged steel pieces are a great example of the Tread Sculptures philosophy of ‘something’s past shouldn’t determine its future’
Hand-formed glass. Reclaimed steel.
