‘Echo’ Rain Song
Description
The ‘Echo’ Rain Song fresh from the studio is part of an ongoing family of sculptural water pieces. Each work carries the same resonant voice, with variations in scale, steel form, and glass colour — like echoes of the same rain falling in different places.
Three glass vessels spill water in shifting streams, with each vessel having a deep rippled rim that allows water to run out around the diameter where the surface tension pulls it under to the glass to drip off the bottom creating the appearance and sound of rain.
