I’m always a bit surprised by these water features.
You put so much care into making the form, shaping the steel, hand-making the glass — and it all looks beautiful.
But then the late afternoon sun hits it… or you light it at night… and suddenly the real star of the show isn’t the glass at all — it’s the water.
Those small splashes and falls catch the light, move, shimmer, and bring the whole piece to life.
It’s amazing how much the water does when the light is just right.
In the end, it feels like a reminder that you can’t really compete with nature —
all you can do is make space for it, and let it do what it’s always done best.
