About This Project

De Nada Amiga
Description
Spanish for ‘Your Welcome My Friend’ (feminine) this entrance considers the strong Mexican value of social connection with family and friends.
We are so excited to have finished this piece that has been in the works for months and started with these gorgeous teak doors approximately 130 years old from India.
With extensive handmade glass work from Rob on both sides and the addition of the leadlight sunrise complimented by the custom reclaimed steel features of planters, a resonating bell and quarry mesh panels, we really went to town on this one.
To get the authentic shape of the prickly pear we collected a branch, de-needled it, laid it on steel sheet and cut the outline with the plasma cutter.
The biggest Secret Garden Entry we have ever done and an absolute one of a kind we feel that the end result makes the amount of work and materials invested in this piece well worth it.
