Description
Fresh from the workshop is the diptych titled ‘Cooper Moon’. We love the idea of the diptych staying together, but they’re just as lovely on their own.
A collaborative wall piece, combining glass with burnt copper and rusted steel.
Heating of the copper moons has produced a kaleidoscope of colours that will continue to evolve over time.
Steel leaves hand cut with the plasma cutter help to form the base for the green glass leaves that are individually cut, glazed and slumped.
The addition of rusty gum nut flowers in this piece gives a glossy bit of red that fits into the Aussie colour pallet.
A beautiful contrast against the offset reclaimed polished stainless steel inner frame and rusty outer frame.
Perfect suited for indoors or outdoors.
