Catching Rays
Description
Set on the Tread Sculptures sculpture trail this huge flower is made from 100% reclaimed material. All the main petals are cut from a decommissioned diesel storage tank and the coloured petals are cut from an empty 44-gallon drum.
The stamens are old glass handmade Japanese fishing floats.
It has a big triangular stand that can be dug in or left exposed with plenty of room to plant in and around it.
The flower head can be lifted off for transportation.
