Scarlet Blaze
Description
We love finding new and interesting flora to get the creative juices flowing so the discovery of a red wattle called ‘Acacia Scarlet Blaze’ did just that.
Also, known as cinnamon wattle, this acacia has a deep green leaf and a vibrant red flower with little yellow tips.
Scarlet Blaze is set in a reclaimed mild steel circle with sculpted steel branches.
The deep green leaves are glazed by hand with the detail and then fired in the kiln.
The flowers are a red fusible glass with the yellow highlights added by hand with glaze before being fired in the kiln.
A quiet tribute to the beauty of the wattle.
